ABOUT SOULFUL BODYWORK
I believe in the healing power of the body. I strive to discover with each unique client what feels good and healthy to them. I also seek to share my understanding of movement and holding patterns, introducing clients to unconscious parts of their body in order to treat connected pain and tension.
I provide a safe and sensitive space for you to relate to your body. I use a firm yet listening touch.
My studies in Biology (BSc, UWO), Massage Therapy (Dip Massage, Sutherland Chan), and Somatic Experiencing (Beg I, II, III; Int I, II) are extensions of my fascination with embodiment.
I have been in Jungian analysis for 13+ years and my work is informed by the integration of body and psyche.
I am in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I have been an RMT since 2014 and continue to enjoy my home and mobile practice.
I live with two very friendly dogs who will likely want to greet you at the door!
The treatment room is on the third floor. This is not a wheelchair accessible space.
